You're on notice. You had me liking you. I had been won over by your staunch war opposition, your isolationist foreign policy, your live and let live libertarianism, and your liberal view on drugs. You almost seemed sane compared to the rest of the Republican candidates. Then I catch you doing this on camera:
Seriously, man. Denying evolution is a big no-no. It really does say something about his capacity to make decisions in the face of evidence. We've had enough trouble with President Chimpy McDumbshit this decade. We don't need another bozo making policy decisions based on what feels good. And there are other people who feel the same.
"He has now demonstrated the ability to look away from reality when it proves inconvenient to his own beliefs. How could we ever trust him to deal with Global Warming, or Islamic terrorism, or any other issue that requires wide open eyes? The man really dissapointed me today. I could handle his legion of whacko supporters, I could handle his extreme libertarianism, but I'm afraid I can't handle this."

Hey, it's good news!
So many problems in the world. Melting ice caps, terrorism, stagnant economy, and the fact I've been without the Daily Show for the past two months. All these troubles, but at least a fat chunk of Paris Hilton's inheritance has been given away. Now if people would just stop paying her to show up places, and stop talking about her (yeah, guilty as charged - what?) we would be on to something, wouldn't we!

Well, that's over with.
I'm kind of glad the Eagles season has come to an end. Despite the three-game winning streak to close out, I seriously couldn't take much more of that crap.
Looking back, the win over New Orleans was our best game. Visions of 2004 danced in my head this Christmas. The rest of our wins were ugly of the butt variety (excluding the Detroit game which was a mirage). Dude, we barely beat Miami for Chirst's sake.
The worst losses. Oh where do I begin? Lets say it's a three-way tie between the 12-sack game against the Giants, the Brian Griese 97-yard, no time-outs, game-winning drive vs. Chicago, and the home blowout loss to Dallas. Yup, three stinkers right there. Oh wait. I forgot about the 4-interception AJ Feeley game against the Seahawks. Yeah, so make that a four-way tie. Then there was the time we almost beat the Patriots. That was cool until about 4 minutes left. I shall not get into the rest.
I largely agree with this assessment of each position. A safety, another corner, a tackle, and a tight end would work wonders. Til next year (which is this year).
